Virgin Islands National Park Lodging Guide

Lodging in the Virgin Islands National Park is restricted on park land in Cinnamon Bay Campground. Accommodations include bare tent sites (26), sites with tent-covered platforms already set up (44), and cottages (40). Cottages and prepared sites are equipped with cooking supplies and linens. There is also a camp store with food, other supplies, and a cafeteria. Campground reservations during the winter months should be made four to six months in advance. Amenities

Public phones, message center, safe deposit boxes and lockers are located on the campground. A snack bar offers breakfast and lunch daily. A general store carries a variety of grocery items and toiletries. There is also a Beach Shop and a restaurant.


Checkin - Checkout

Guests may check in from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily. Arrivals prior to 2:00 pm are welcome to use restrooms, shower facilities and the beach. Accommodation assignment is received upon check-in at the registration window. For those arriving after 8:00 pm. Assignments are posted outside of the registration window; rental equipment will not be left in accommodations. Checkout is at 11:00 am daily. Luggage may be left in the office until guests are ready to depart.


Cottages

Tucked away among the trees are screen-lined cottages, providing refreshing breezes from the trade winds. Each cottage is 15 feet by 15 feet, with electric lights and outside terrace. All are equipped with four twin beds, ceiling fan, picnic table, charcoal grill, propane gas stove, ice chest, water container, and cooking and eating utensils. Beds are made upon arrival and fresh linens are available at the front desk twice a week. Cribs are available upon request.

A 50 percent deposit must be send directly to Cinnamon Bay Campground within 14 days from the booking date. Written notice of cancellation must be received at the campground at least 30 days prior to arrival to receive a full deposit. Cancellations received less than 30 days from the arrival date will be charged an equivalent of three nights of the total accommodations confirmed. If you wish to conclude your stay before scheduled departure, at least two days notice is required in order for you to receive a refund for unused days.

Reservations can be guaranteed with a credit card. Payment must be made in full at time of registration with cash, travelers checks, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Please no personal checks.

Reservations for all accommodations are accepted no more than 12 months prior to arrival. All rates are subject to change.

Daily rates are based on double occupancy, maximum four occupants. Daily rates packages do not include 8% USVI tax on cottages. Meals are offered and served at Cinnamon Bay Campgrounds.
